The explosion-proof data acquisition unit (DAU) for the multiphase flowmeter developed and manufactured independently by Haimo Technologies passed the review of NEMKO and received EU’s ATEX Standard certificate in October 2013. 

    NEMKO is an independent global certification body for electrical products, based in Norway. It is an instruction notification body in the fields of low voltage, electro-magnetic compatibility, machinery, medical facilities, explosion-proof electrical products, telecommunication equipment, automobiles, building materials and noise, designated by the European Community. It is also one of the founders of the authentication schemes in many European countries. The fact that Haimo’s explosion-proof DAU gained these two important certifications shows that it has crossed the threshold of global market admittance and become a major player of the global market.
