Haimo Technologies Group Corp. and CIMC Marine Engineering Co., Ltd. have jointly applied to undertake a “Special Project for Marine Economic Development” in the Guangdong Province of China, specifically for the Marine Engineering Equipment Structure Inspection and Deep Water Metering Device research and development.

As part of this exercise, Haimo will carry out the detailed design and manufacture of a subsea multiphase flow meter engineering prototype for a design pressure of 10000 psi and that would be able to operate in water depth of 3000 meters, as also complete the various required tests, per API17S and other specifications. 

The engineering prototype will be further certified by the third-party, DET NORSKE VERITAS (DNV GL), one of the foremost certification bodies in the Oil & Gas industry.
